Key features of a Property Investment Loan

Loan Purpose

To purchase a residential property for investment purposes. This is typically for a longer term, and can include investors who are:

• buying a property for rental purposes;
• seeking equity release to undertake renovations or improvements to the property; or
• land banking over a longer term for future development.

The loans can be provided to individuals, companies or trusts.

Interest rates

From 9.95% to 12.95%. The actual interest rate will depend on the borrower's circumstances and the information verified during the assessment of a loan application.  

Loan Amounts

Loans up to $2,500,000 subject to loan circumstances (e.g. location, eligibility criteria and lending limits).

Repayment Structure

• Interest Only for the first two years.
• From years 3 to 10, repayments are on a Principal and Interest basis, amortised over a 30-year period.

Loan Terms

Up to 10 years.

Loan to Value (LVR)

Borrow up to 80% of the property value. LVR's over 70% are subject to available funding and price loading.
